Magnussen expecting to learn from great teammate Button

McLaren new recruit Kevin Magnussen has admitted that he relishing the opportunity to learn from Jenson Button whom the Dane believes will be a great team mate in his debut Formula 1 season.
Answering questions through Twitter, Magnussen said, “I’m ready to learn from Jenson – he has huge experience. I’ll make the most of the opportunity – he’ll be a great team mate.”
On the subject of racing for a team with a history and pedigree such as McLaren’s, Magnussen said, “I feel pressure, because McLaren is a top team, and they expect big results.”
The World Series by Renault 3.5 champion added that he was inspired by the fact that fellow McLaren protege Lewis Hamilton scored his maiden win in his rookie season.
Magnussen said, “It’s proof that it’s been done before, which is positive. Lewis is a fantastic driver.”
As for his immediate reaction to being appointed a McLaren driver in place of Sergio Perez, Magnussen revealed, “I went training!” (GP247)
