Grand Prix International 27 June 2012 Edition
27 June, 2012
Jun.27 (Grand Prix International) Fernando Alonso is no stranger to momentous wins – his career is dotted with big, defining moments, and one need only look back on his career at Ferrari for victories that defied predictions.
Start with his first race for the Maranello squad, in Bahrain which he won back in 2010; fast forward to September, the same year, to Monza where the honeymoon with the team had appeared to be over – results had sort of dried up. Wham! Bam! The Spaniard wins, shutting up all critics and winning over every heart in Italy.
This year the reds have been plagued by their “complex” F2012. Nevertheless come Malaysia in March and Alonso again triumphs against adversity…and now – please excuse the cliche; against all odds – from 11th on the grid, on home soil.
Wham! Bam! Maximum points and another remarkable legend for his legacy.
On the other hand, out and out racer, Lewis Hamilton’s new found ‘maturity’ went AWOL and he went home empty handed after going toe-to-toe with known brawler Pastor Maldonado.
There’s a very fine line between hero and zero in Formula One.
We have it all covered in yet another action packed, visual feast of an edition. Enjoy!
