Grand Prix International 6 June 2012 Edition

6 June, 2012

Grand Prix International 6 June 2012Jun.6 (Grand Prix International by YallaF1.com) Felipe Massa is under huge pressure. Indeed, his destiny in Formula One hinges on whether he performs well in the remaining races of the 2012 season.

Ferrari are giving the Brazilian time to re-establish himself as Fernando Alonso’s teammate for 2013 and perhaps even beyond that – team president Luca di Montezemolo  has been uncommonly patient with Massa and perhaps this is paying off because in Monaco glimpses of the gutsy driver, who nearly won the title back in 2008, showed on the narrow streets.

A big confidence boost all round, then. The question now is whether Massa can sustain the momentum. In this issue we highlight the subject and let readers make up their own mind.

We also preview the weekend ahead in Montreal, a favourite destination for the F1 circus, and a race track that tends to deliver out of the ordinary races and contests with unusually high levels of attrition – hence our “Bent Metal” big picture feature.

We also tackle the various headline making stories, such as the Red Bull floor, and have a tete-a-tete with Eric Boullier, among a host of other juicy bits. Enjoy!
