Sauber fined for Kobayashi pitlane incident

Jul.11 (Reuters) Sauber were fined 20,000 euros ($29,016.000 on Sunday for a pitstop incident involving Japanese Formula One driver Kamui Kobayashi at the British Grand Prix.
Kobayashi collided with Pastor Maldonado’s Williams as he pulled out while the Venezuelan was arriving for his stop at the pits in front.
The Japanese driver, who was also involved in a collision with Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher in the race, was handed a stop/go penalty as well.
McLaren were fined 5,000 euros for the unsafe release of Britain’s Jenson Button, who left the pits with a front wheel unsecured due to a blunder by his mechanics and pulled over at the exit.
